About | Background

I began my law firm after years in both private practice and working at an in-house legal department for an international manufacturing company. I’ve spent considerable time interpreting overly-confusing contracts and legal documents to my clients and business partners throughout my years of practice. My law firm was founded with a simple mission: to empower clients through plain language contracts.

My background in journalism lends itself to this mission by being able to reduce complex legal issues into clear, concise, and secure contracts. I take delight in educating my clients and watching their businesses flourish. I also understand that the work doesn’t stop once an agreement is signed, which is why I’m happy to offer advisory services for your personal and professional needs.

When I’m not working, I enjoy spending time with my family and our dog. You can find me at the beach, on the golf links, or trying new recipes in the kitchen.
